not possible - after you put forth the proposal, a sport can be introduced only after 8 years - so earliest possible is only 2020 ;)

nope - for that they should have bid before start of this olympics. earliest possible is only 2020 if they bid before start of 2012.

anyways, 2016 is not Chicago yet - 4 shortlisted are Chicago, Madrid, Tokyo, and Rio. final decision only in 2009 Oct.

Well, after 1st phase, it was ranked 3rd behind Tokyo and Madrid !!! Also, Madrid was very close to winning the 2012 Olympics....

 Tokyo — scored 8.3
 Madrid — scored 8.1
 Chicago — scored 7.0
Rio de Janeiro — scored 6.4
 Doha — scored 6.9
 Prague — scored 5.3
 Baku — scored 4.3

Let us see - I don't think it is that black & white: US has hosted 4 olympics till now - 1904, 1932, 1984, and 1996.

I think it will be Tokyo or Madrid and not Chicago. we will know in 14 months. Only time will tell  :P

i think you are messing with the mafia if you go against Daley. Specially if BHO wins the election then we will have a Chicagoan in the White House. I think Chi-town is a lock. Believe it or not they have even planning things out here. Though the location of the olympic stadium worries me (Washington Park). That ground has 6 cricket pitches and we have atleast 1-2 matches every year over there. Dont want to lose that. But I will be almost 30 by 2016 and will be contemplating retirement so that maybe ok ;)
