They would be Gangulians. Only good in their own mind. For the people that matter it would not be very satisfying :) . Specially to the bottom line :)

I saw a video on trampolining (as a sport) after posting the first message. I've got to concede that with many of the existing gymnastics routines this is not really different. Bu there ought to be a limit to the number of variants allowed. I think 3 gymnastic events should be it. They should add a vaulting horse and a trampoline to the floor exercise mat.

BTW, I see all these tiny (in body frame and age) girls for China in gymnastics. Some of them barely look 10 years old to me. This is the modern circus. May be the Chinese coach should pack 10 of them in a suitcase and then let them out one by one shortly after entering the arena, while they pile up on each others shoulders to mimic a normal size adult.

Also, these gymnasts world over do their jump or somersault thingy and then extend their arms and flick their wrists in some misplaced theatrics. This whether they falter or succeed. Like KKK suggested elsewhere, they should do a crossed-arm-ear-lobe-stand-squat routine when they miss.
