what about this modified signal from umpire?
« on: August 10, 2008, 08:21:45 AM »
At present during a case of 'referal' if a batsman is declared NOT OUT after referal when he was initially given put by the umpire; the umpire puts his both palms on his opposite shoulders in 'crossed' position. It indiactes that his earlier decision of declaring a batsman out is withdrawn.
Now if this signaling method is modified where an umpire holds his opposite ear lobules with crossed hands (  ;) ); it will be a PERFECT GESTURE: ' I AM SORRY FORGIVE ME !! ;D ;D

in this series the primary signal has been the (mostly) 3rd umpire giving the Indians the middle finger

Good one!

I think the outcomes of this review system shows what nonsense the previous ICC claim of umpiring accuracy was.
