215-8 now !!!!

Unless Andersen, Freddie, and Sidey bowl exceptionally well, the series is gone for Eng !!!

Batted poorly on a good batting pitch....

KP would have been a goner if it was an LBW... unearned credit for Prince :)

True - it was actually funny - bowler, WK and slips appealed for LBW and only Prince appealed for a catch. Instead of just giving him out, Ump indicated to KP that he has given caught and not lbw - makes him look quite foolish now  ;D ;D ;D

Agressive, Hostile spell of fast bowling from who else but Freddie !!!!

gets Kallis with a beauty - unplayable ball

Also gets AB out hooking

Eng are back in the game if they get SA all out with < 100 runs lead

Test cricket at its best  ::cheers:: ::cheers::

no amount of IPLs or world cups can match up to this intensity.

66.1 Flintoff to Kallis, no run, what a ball, and Kallis hasn't seen that! A yorker which he tries to jab down on and it misses his off stump by an inch. Perilously close
66.2 Flintoff to Kallis, no run, a fast bouncer which flies past Kallis's nose. Edgbaston roars their approval, for the first time in the match
There's a real late-afternoon atmosphere now, all cheering Flintoff on
66.3 Flintoff to Kallis, no run, another quick bouncer which he ducks beneath
66.4 Flintoff to Kallis, no run, angled out to the off side
66.5 Flintoff to Kallis, no run, another fast yorker, hits the toe and that's plumb. Surely. No! My word - Kallis has escaped there. Flintoff is furious
66.6 Flintoff to Kallis, 1 run, flicked through midwicket
Flintoff is absolutely raging. It's very rare you see him lose his cool, and he's asking Aleem Dar about it - he just cannot believe it. Time to cool down, I think...and he's off to deep square leg

Flintoff to Kallis. Oh yes.
68.1 Flintoff to Kallis, no run, a fired-up bouncer to which Kallis snaps his neck out of the way. It's fast, it's straight, and Kallis avoids facial surgery by an inch
That was quick, mark my words

68.2 Flintoff to Kallis, no run, 85.7mph and left alone outside off
"It's Donald v Atherton in reverse," says Miller
68.3 Flintoff to Kallis, no run, a swing and a miss outside off! This is terrific Test match cricket here, a wonderful sight to see Flintoff roar up to the crease against one of the very best of modern-day batsmen
68.4 Flintoff to Kallis, OUT, he's BOWLED HIM! What a ball from Flintoff and what an over, fired in at off stump and Kallis is beaten for pace and outswing, his off stump knocked back several metres
 JH Kallis b Flintoff 64 (141m 114b 9x4 0x6) SR: 56.14
And Flintoff celebrates, arching back and roaring his angry delight - it's been a terrific, enthralling couple of overs.
The key to Kallis's dismissal was Flintoff's never-say-die attitude. He felt cheated and wanted revenge. Flintoff to de Villiers
68.5 Flintoff to de Villiers, no run, another fast yorker spearing into de Villiers' middle stump. That, too, was quick - upwards of 86mph
Flintoff is as pumped up as you can imagine. Puce in the face
68.6 Flintoff to de Villiers, no run, 88.7mph and it's left alone by de Villiers. Edgbaston stands for Flintoff who's produced two memorable overs, the type of inspirational cricket England have missed from him for 18 months

Both Simon Jones and Harami are bowling brilliantly for their counties this season - both should have been playing this test match !!!

What a lineup that was - Harami, Doggy, Freddie, and Simon Jones - all in full form !!!!!!

Right then, here comes Nel
64.1    Nel to Collingwood, 1 run, fires it full and on middle and leg, the batsman clips it round the corner
Two slips and a gully. There are other fielders of course, but they're the cordon
64.2    Nel to Ambrose, no run, defended on the front foot this time, towards the covers
64.3    Nel to Ambrose, no run, outside off, Nel gangles that one up there full again, and Ambrose lets it whistle on by
64.4    Nel to Ambrose, 1 leg bye, on the legs, and heading wide of the stumps, the batsman helps it on wider with a wristy flick down to fine leg
64.5    Nel to Collingwood, no run, down the legs again - can't be a deliberate tactic, can it? - no, it looked like the yorker was just a touch misdirected. The batsman chases it gamely round
64.6    Nel to Collingwood, no run, Nel's back on an off-side line now, a good length too, and the batsman defends on the front foot
End of over 65 (2 runs) - England 247/6

PD Collingwood          67* (96b 11x4)            A Nel          14-2-62-1
TR Ambrose          4* (32b)            PL Harris          15-3-46-2
Kallis back into the attack now as England continue to work their way towards what they hope will be a useful lead
65.1    Kallis to Ambrose, FOUR, on the legs, turned down to fine leg and that brings up England's 250
65.2    Kallis to Ambrose, no run, forced down the channel, the ball comes in off the seam and the batsman shoulders arms
65.3    Kallis to Ambrose, no run, defended back down the track
65.4    Kallis to Ambrose, no run, outside off, cut straight to the man at point
65.5    Kallis to Ambrose, no run, some swing outside off, the batsman defends into the track
65.6    Kallis to Ambrose, no run, more of the same, more of the same. More of th...
End of over 66 (4 runs) - England 251/6

TR Ambrose          8* (38b 1x4)            JH Kallis          15-4-41-0
PD Collingwood          67* (96b 11x4)            A Nel          14-2-62-1
66.1    Nel to Collingwood, 1 run, on the legs, Nel struggling with his line latterly, and shovelled round to backward square
66.2    Nel to Ambrose, no run, he's a hustler all right and Nel shoulders it down the channel, with some swing away to boot
66.3    Nel to Ambrose, 1 run, on the legs again, and if it's frustrating for the viewers, it's frustrating for Nel who clutches his face in despair, and the batsman clips it down
66.4    Nel to Collingwood, 2 runs, on the legs again (I need a macro for that one) and yet again the batsman takes advantage with a flick behind square
Where now for Nel?
66.5    Nel to Collingwood, 1 run, ah! Outside off, full one, driven square in front of point
66.6    Nel to Ambrose, no run, outside off, cut into the ground off the back foot. He missed out on that one, you could say

incoming full toss thuds into Kallis' pads and hitting the stumps. Kallis is fuming to the ump w.r.t. sighting the ball because of the sightscreen. Micky Arthur is alos fuming in the pavilion !!!!

I disagree.. 20-20 matches during IPL (specially later stages) were a lot of fun. For example, the final was a thriller.. the closely fought mumbai losses against KXIP, RR were exciting.

given all other formats a resounding slap in the face !!!!
How so? I do not think of 20-20 and tests as competing against each other. ODIs is a different matter altogether - donno what purpose they will serve.
