Admiring wildlife is okay but sometimes (more often actually, nowadays) it just seems  like he loses sight of the fact that he is doing cricket commentary, not commenting on Animal Planet -- to harp on wildlife for 10 minutes at a stretch is just awful

Waqar got so fed up that he said let us get back to the cricket match 2-3 times, whenever Arun Lal started discussing the crows !!!

Well ! The end looked very tame but a good victory and there were no hiccups..
Here are the changes I am advocating..for the 3rd test
Rohit sharma IN place of you know whom....
PP replacing KKD
Let us not gloat too much..Indian batting was horrible, outside of Viru and GG

Ne'er change a winning combo...
But only KKD looks uncertain... the rest stay where they are...unless there is a mysterious injury to someone  ;)

I guess the lesson is "never change a losing combo.." ;D

If KKD's WK is in question, I'm not sure PP as WK will be any better. PP should have been picked as backup WK anyways. If KKD's batting is in question, he seemed fluent today and apprently his batting today was as per team instructions to play his natural game and then 20-30 runs.

I would not want to replace SG with RS as RS will be a sitting duck against Mendis and will score 2 first ball 0s. No point in bringing him in without any match practice in a crucial decider.

I agree that the batting is still very much iffy, especially the middle and lower order.

How do you think SG seemed in middle ?

Definitely  not fluent..was not struggling..but was just not able to get a move on...
1) Losing VVS early
2) KKD not able to take the battle to the opposition
3) 2 reviews adding the pressure...

But, RS for SG in a match that is a series decider would be suicide

hmmm ..i have a feeling this last game might be a bit of an anticlimax. after all it is the venue where 952 boring deathknells were sounded way back in 1997 during the world's greatest snoozefest ...  ::zzz::
