Team India cricketer S Sreesanth finds himself hitting headlines yet again. This time it is reports of the fiery pacer reportedly involved in an altercation with the staff of the Grand Ashoka hotel in Bangalore on Sunday. ( Watch )

TIMES NOW learnt that Sreesanth who was staying at the hotel with a friend, got into a heated argument with the hotel management in the middle of the night reportedly over a noisy air-conditioner.

It is believed that a major row broke out between the hotel staff, Sreesanth and his friend as they insisted on shifting to another room. However, Sreesanth's manager insisted that the issue has now been resolved and there was no such 'heated argument' between both the parties.

Sree's manager, Kunal Trehan, claims it was a minor problem.

"There was no heated argument. It was just a case of miscommunication between people. Sree was a bit disturbed by a persistent noise in his room and he asked me to resolve it. For which, I got him shifted in another room. There was no argument by Sree in any format," said Trehan adding that initially Sreesanth had left the hotel in a huff but returned when he was moved to another room.

Underplaying the incident, Trehan went on to add that Sreesanth took everything in good humour.

"Sree was laughing at the situation and was not at all miffed in any form. He has been at the Grand Ashoka several times over the past five years and this is like home to him," Trehan asserted.

"During his training at the National Academy as a teenager he lived here, so he is very well acquainted with the hotel staff and considers them as his family."

What is wrong with complaining about a noisy ac and demanding a change of room? 5+ star hotels are supposed to oblige a change in room request and advertise an "if you don't like it, we will fix it" approach to customer service.

BCCI seeks details of Bangalore hotel incident from Sreesanth

The Cricket Board has sought details about the unsavoury happenings involving temperamental pacer S Sreesanth two days ago at a Bangalore hotel where he's staying while taking part in the BCCI's camp at the National Cricket Academy.

"We have written letters to the hotel management and Sreesanth asking for details about what exactly happened there. He's staying there while attending the camp and his room has been booked by us. We would like to know what has happened after reading about the incident in the newspapers," said BCCI CAO Prof Ratnakar Shetty on Wednesday.

According to hotel sources, Sreesanth, who was involved in 'slapgate' with India mate Harbhajan Singh during the Indian Premier League, got into an argument with the staff of the hotel and created a 'scene' after complaining of 'too much noise' from an air conditioner in his room.

The sources alleged that the Kerala speedster lashed out at the hotel staff after they requested him to bear with them for half an hour to carry out repairs.

He wanted to change the room immediately in the early hours but was told no vacant room was available. A couple of his friends also joined him in arguing with the hotel staff, the hotel sources alleged.

Sreesanth later "patched up" with the hotel staff, they said.

Sreesanth is in Bangalore undergoing rehabilitation for his side strain sustained at the fag end of the Indian Premier League that has ruled him out of cricket for the whole of this month.

He has already missed the tri-series in Bangladesh, his place in the team taken up by Manpreet Singh Gony, and is set to miss the June 24-July 6 Asia Cup in Pakistan too.

It is bit difficult to understand the the hotel staff would have acted rudely, as they were at fault for the noisy AC.
