Either side will want to be one up on their opponents in case they meet again in the final.

Is this guy Marsh a T20 Don Bradman or T20 Michael Hussey? He is the son of Geoff Marsh, former Australian opener.

Carnage...
18.6 MM Patel to Yuvraj Singh, SIX, he's pounding them as if at a net, this is becoming into a joke now, full and on the pads, picks it up and punctures that, another flat six and it strikes the rope on the full, Stuart Broad must be loving this

I wonder if Dhoni and his Super Kings are watching this. Talk of mental disintegration.

Anyway two of wins against Deccan and Mumbai were the games they lost till the other team said wait a minute you can have it we do not want a win.

Constrast it with Punjab.  There appear so strong and talented.

Yusuf Pathan and Watson.  Please.  Give me something better.  Even for 20-20 it is a little far fetched.

B.T.W:-Does Modi have any interest and stake in the team.  Just curious.  Can someone shed some light into it.

I do not understand the fascination with Kaif.  Good that they entrusted Watson with the captaincy in Warne's absense.  His batting inspires no one.

He is a real dud who was lucky enough in his life to play 125 games in ODI's for India especially when you consider that someone like Badrinath played 0 games.

It has to do with metal toughness. Is it too difficult to see that this unknown fluky Rajasthan team was actually more mentally tough than the crowned superstars of DC and MI? Is it too difficult to see that these superstars blinked first, more often than not, and the unknown flukes didn't blink at all?

You know, God has been using the word fluke quite liberally for GG, and in IPL GG showed God how wrong he was. It seems like you have been bitten by the same bug!! I can't read your mind, but do you have anything against RR? Do you think a team can win so many games just by being flukes? You can't fathom how RR won so many games, so by your default reasoning you term them as flukes!! That's strange.

You know, if a fluke happens 12 times out of 14, it doesn't remain a fluke. It becomes a norm.

13.6 Sreesanth to Kamran Akmal, 1 run, yorker-length this time, outside off, pushed firmly to long-on but can't get the elevation, they settle for one
round the wicket now
13.5 Sreesanth to Kamran Akmal, SIX, massacre this, full and on middle and leg, he's cleared his front foot and swung it way, way over midwicket for one more, this is book cricket now, Akmal is soaring here, now then, is there a twist?
13.4 Sreesanth to Kamran Akmal, SIX, that's aimed at Lahore, slower one again and he's waited for that, brutal slog sweep over midwicket, that's a smashing shot, the Royals are jumping in the dug-out now
13.3 Sreesanth to Kamran Akmal, SIX, that's massive! good-length ball on the pads, Akmal walks across and swings clean over backward square leg for six, that's a biggie, he can strike them clean this boy
13.2 Sreesanth to Kamran Akmal, no run, full and outside off, punched hard to midwicket and Yusuf takes off, he needs to make a lot of ground to get back, Powar lets out a throw to the bowler but it's too wide and by the time Sreesanth whips off the bails, Brother Yo is home. All safe
13.1 Sreesanth to Kamran Akmal, FOUR, slower one, outside off and he's punched off the back foot, mis-field by Marsh at short extra cover and it trickles away for four, quick outfield this
Will we see Pathan v Pathan? Already Irfan has removed a pathan (Younis Khan). Can he remove another? Sreesanth it is

Sreesanth taken to the cleaners...

If Rams is watching this game now, with their better players resting, they are still giving a full strength PKXI a run for the money. Is that a fluke?

Pathan perished trying to hit 6s. He did hit 3 of them. Can't expect him to do all the scoring when the other guy is hogging the strike and not scoring at all.

It's a 41-run win for Punjab. Priety is out there hugging the boys. She might as well have hugged them in the half time. Rajasthan will rue the poor start they had. Maybe the big hitters could have come out earlier. Niraj played a good hand and Yusuf blasted a few into the crowds but it was always going to be a near-impossible target to hunt down. Punjab will go into the semi-finals high on confidence and if they meet this team in the final, might just start as marginal favourites. However, Shane Warne would like to look at it the other way around: how his second-string side competed against a strong Punjab outfit.

A starting run rate of 8.75 against 11+.... also SG opened while YP came 3rd down.

RR - 51 runs required from last 2 overs when YP got out.
KKR - 23 runs required from last 2 overs.

Comparing these 2 games is like comparing apples and oranges.

I look at it differently.  Winning is a habit.  You do not want to get beat this bad going into a SF game.

Plus I know Asnodkar all the way through the ranks Goa, SZ, India 'A'.  He is OK.  Tanvir is an enigma.  But for Warne I do not buy into all this B team business for a minute.

Punjab just laid the wood across them. They better watch out.

They could be walloped by Delhi as much as I want RR to beat them.

Look...........we have high expectations from ppl like Yusuf Pathan...............he is going to take over the Indian responsibilities after the big 3 hang their boots.
He has to show that he deserves our confidence, he has to win matches...........difficult ones.......on his own, just as the big-3 did in their earlier days......................and thats how they became the big-3...................nobody gave them any benefit or second chance, they grabbed them on their own  and made the most out of those. ::cheers::
