An observation in cricinfo:

Chitnis to Marsh, SIX, a mis-hit goes for a six! What's with the bats these days?? Steps down the track to loft over midwicket but he ends up miscuing it high to long-on, Smith runs across to catch it but there's enough elevation to take it over the rope

Very sad indeed to watch when the bowler gets the better of the bastman, the batsman gets rewarded with a SIX.

Why is there no interest in this match? SRT stands between KXIP and victory.

Yuvraj let the crowd have it in the ceremony. He said I want to thank the crowd for their support, which was very one sided for Mumbai team, they should not forget that some of the Punjab boys play for India.

What was SRT thinking? Why did Pollock bowl only 3 overs? Was he injured?

Awesome ...I wish there was some kind of relegation / promotion system as well - to give the lower ranked teams also something other than pride to play for.

KXIP played an awesome match yesterday(even VRV redeemed himself a bit by that catch). i hope they go on to win the title -they deserve it.

i also hope that warne gets kicked out in the semis.

My hunch is that one of the two super achievers will stumble in the semis — KXIP or RR. However, there is no doubt involved in my prediction that Shaun Marsh is the find of the tournament. What clean hitting. Kid has no nerves. And most of his shots are copybook at that. In fact even when he goes for the occasional ugly heave, it's more soothing to the eye than a copybook shot by that Ghatotkach — Haydos!

Dilhara was the culprit... knowing he can hit harder and further... worked hard to ensure he remains off strike...

Dumbest of them all ... taking a third run that brings Nehra on strike  :icon_scratch:

The VRV catch was on par with what KD took in the WC finals.Thats where any comparison ends however. Imo the best match of the tournament so far.

It was Nehra who pushed for it I think. Had Dilhara not run Nehra would have been run out at the bowlers end. But true it would have kept Dilhara on strike. Don't think it would have mattered anyway.

uthappa is fat, portly, sports the most hideous hairstyle in the history of mankind, is arrogant, has attitude problems (as per rumors), is a very limited batsman and is taking himself down the drain.

But the cricketers should understand that they are playing for a proffesional franchise team and not India...

Which again takes us back to the point ..  "Booing is not the sole right of any specific city or region as some would like us to believe"  ::zzz::

It happens everywhere and will happen... our understanding of the intensity is based on crowd attending the matches .. and what gets focused on TV
