CSK will struggle without Hayden and Hussey, compare them with their replacements in the XI, Fleming and Vidyut and you get the picture.

But they are shifting a few games out to Wankade i heard?

there is a request .. the problem is that it is miles outside city limits ... not so bad for me coz i am in central mumbai ... but, if the players are put up in any hotel near town or even near the airport, it would be at least an hour and a half drive ... also, for the ambanis, it takes ages to get there from where they stay.

but it is way way better than the wankhade ... and tickets are cheaper too. it is amazing how the crowd fills up even though this is so far away from the mainstream .. besides, mumbai, a lot of people come down from places like pune and nasik for the game. And the best thing was I got into the stadium and out of the stadium and to my car in 20 minutes flat ...

Gouravk, it is sad that you will not be coming down to catch a match at this stadium ... i think this is a stadium fit enough to host the final .. definitely better than wankhade, where it is a pain really getting in and getting out.

yeah but in future i see this as a big international venue. as mumbai expands and becomes more streamlined, the new navi mumbai airport comes up and pune gets even closer.

Also a city like Mumbai can surely afford to have two or three international stadiums.

i agree. and i hope it happens soon ... and i also hope that the much talked about reconstruction of wankhade makes it a bit more spectator friendly

Nice to see Chennai losing................they are also suffering from the exodus of some foreign players as KKR...............only thing is, they have ensured that the win the initial few matches while the main foreign players were around...................something which KKR failed to do.

CSK is still a good team. They just lost to two of the top sides.

I think it has also to do with sequence of matches.

Mohali played two very tough opponents (CSK & RR) upfront and lost both.

KKR played two very weak opponents (BRC & DC) upfront and won both.

The end of the first round should give a good and fair idea of how each team is placed.
