I sincerely think they should divide the teams next year into 2 groups.. and have them play each other in the group twice and once the other group teams. This will reduce the # of matches and the groups should be decided based on previous season's performance with teams mixed from top 4 and bot 4 in each group

That was an OK shot for 20-20 .. unfortunately, he picked out the fielder

That way Gilchirst did the same, Rohit did the same and picked up the fielders today. It happens. All part of the game. So nothing unfortunate about it.

Debabrata Das played a brilliant cameo the other day......all for 21 odd. But I feel he is not good enough....just a one-stroke wonder.
If a guy like Das plays for the Kolkata team...I am sorry to say that the standard is pretty low...........................huge difference after Ponting/Gayle/ McCullum and what we have in hand.

while losing Gayle is unfortunate, wasn't it clear that Ponting/McCullum would leave ? they should have gone for some SL/SA players.

KKR needs some major stroke to luck to have any success.bat first on a flat track, batting clicks and they put up a huge score etc. i see no hope for them this season.

Dex....ideally Gul bowls the 12th...14th...16th ....and 18th overs......unless some other crisis forces otherwise.

this is a very silly strategy. they should put pressure upfront with the best 2 bowlers--ishant & gul. if they can get enough wickets, then later it won't be a problem.

Gul is a death bowler specialist. He successfully bowled 14, 16, 18, 20 for Pak in T20 WC.
