It helps to stick to one team throughout. Today with CSK down at the middle stage and then turning the table like this! What a thriller !! CSK had said to have discovered the act of bringing shine to the ball after 15 overs, whcih they had initially forgotten, as per MSD. That move said to have clicked as masterpiece!
Is MSD Intellegent or Lucky? very tricky question.
But the simple question is, RD is a DUMB CAP. How can he think of Kallis ahead of Misbah? This is a typical 'senior preferred to junior' attitude by RD. THIS IS PRECISELY WHY I HATE RD FROM THE HEART. Apart from his slugginsh batting he is the one who kills the apetite of the budding players. When MSD came to limelight with a MOM vs Srilanka series in 2005 end and mainly by playing at no3; he was leterarly burried under the ground during next series vs england, where he got just one chance to excell at top order (when he scored 96 at jamshedpur when RD was not in team) rest all series he batted too lower down and that has made him habbitual to do so even now. Today if he would have come ahead of raina ie 5 more overs; he would have struck a ton and CSK had 200+! well that will not be far now as OZs leave.
And RD 000000.00000 was icing on cake!! ( but sometimes i feel he should have lasted 10/12 balls at least in both last inngs to generate more occassions of critism!)
