Whats he doing there? Is he in a consulting role with them? As a motivational speaker or something? Anyone know? Cos he was in the team kit..so dont think he was just visiting..

He was offered a position by Ambani/Sachin and co. as per reports.

He is their scouting director or some such. Equivalant of the advanced scouts in Baseball. Studying teams for weaknesses and feeding the team information

Wish the Deccan chargers had him.  Orginally he is from Hyd., I have seen him many times in the local games during the early to late 80's.  At the time not known to many but popular in the local circles doing radio/tv commentary for the Hyd. Ranji games and SZ games held in Hyd..  I think his closeness to Sachin landed him this role.
