Good work on the move Dex. Looks very nice.

Suggestions
1) Dont like the Howzzat. Too large and takes up a lot of room and thus makes the forum look ugly.
2) Is there a way to replicate the "Quick Reply" feature of Arjun's DG
3) Small thing (probably something u cant control) but the smiley icon doesnt seem to be smiling (people tend to use too many grins).

I think the look and feel of the web-site is great. Good Job!! One suggestion. Could we now have a cricketing calendar (at least for India's matches) on the web-site. I know that dates change and it might not always be accurate (specially looking beyond a couple of months) but that can always be fixed once the dates are confirmed. I see there is already a calendar just filling in the dates of the tours / matches would do the job. Applause for you Dex.

I noticed that when I try to login from the main web page (under Login to Post on the left tab) I am getting an incorrect username/password error. However, I am able to login through the forums link. Not sure if the two usernames are meant to be the same or whether they haven't been synched. To encourage donations you might want to attach a "donor" flag against their usernames. It can be form of recognition. Again, some might construe that to be a cheap way of getting attention but then who doesn't want to feel special.

The other dg allowed users to set their own look and layout preferences.. didnt like the howzaat and bat icon much over there, so all i had to do was just change my theme.. dont seem to have tht option here..

OK now it looks REAL BAD. I see a lot of BLUE shading on the posts. Some icons are not loading (lots of them).

Not sure if this is only for me (since I am behind my works firewall) but looks much worse than it did this morning.

Looks the same to me...I've tested it on 3 computers.

but you can go under profile and select a different theme, see if that works better. please let me know!

When you hve time, Can you do something about the Fill color for the sticky threads like lighter shade. It is training on the eyes to read black text in darker background. Appreciate all the hardwork you have done.

I will look into it but I would highly suggest using the default theme -- the reason for it is this -- I've manually modded the hard code for this theme that has added a few features and such, when the themes are switched, it won't always be able to make the right re-adjustments and will tend to look in wrong directories and such. But thanks for pointing it out, I will take a look at it!

maybe you could enable a blogs tool, which viewers can see on our homepage. regular posters/bloggers can have a small part of the screen dedicated to their articles.
right now as i understand it, only the mods can write up stuff that appears on the main page?

Dex/Saurabh suggested this during the votegupta days. Why dont we use the chat software for live matches? I dont know if anyone suggested this in the suggestons thread.
Perhaps, chat rooms for each kind of match can be made and then mods can archive the full transcript. This is easier and quicker than the match threads. One drawback may be that on a busy day, people will miss a lot of posts in quick succession.

how about firing dextrous as the moderator? He has not exhibited any abilities which I think are moderator like. I agree he started and owns the forum that is not enough ground to be a moderator....there are more worthy people than dextrous who can be moderator worma kban sahir and dexterous really they dont seem to be in the league. I propose flutes name to replace dextrous as the moderator while dextrous can retain the admin role.....

Please dont consider this as a knee jerk reaction. I would like the members to debate this issue.....

MODS - that "Shop" should only allow POSITIVE stuff - please dont have negative stuff like "Decrease someone else's post count" or "steal" credits etc...Why even give room for more variants of "smiting".
