CEO Ramadorai:

"My judgement is almost always right, that's the way I built my team because we don't have an automatic promotion process in TCS," he asserts.

"As we walk back to his office, he gives me some parting advice. 'The online newspaper is the future. Whoever gets it right first, wins.'"

i personally think in the process of becoming online all these newspapers have lost their individuality and have become some sort of entertainment portal. The seriousness or the focus of news you get from the basic TOI paper version is missing in the toi.com . I personally have noticed indianexpress and telegraphindia to be very objective in that aspect. These two sites still focus more on the newspaper part of things rather than becoming some sort of infotainment portal. HT/TOI/REDIFF is full of clutter and it is really hard to dig into the real worthy articles and news

Why did the chicken cross the road?

According to Le Chatelier:

The chicken crossed the road because there were too many moles of chicken
on the reactants side of the road equilibrium.

That is the point. That is a seriously stupid statement to make for someone running one of the top 3 IT companies in India. However, I have heard from people I respect that Ramadorai is very sharp and capable. I strongly suspect that the interviewer has misrepresented his statements thoroughly. If I am wrong, then TCS truly deserves to be shorted.
