Yes. Dhoni has come to terms that Bhajji can at best be a very good containing bowler and not an attacking option. We, as fans must also realize that. India must play him only in ODIs and T-20s. He must no longer be considered for test matches.

believe over time hs has really become very defensive and is not picking up wickets which is imp.but he is still therein the team for reasons best known to him

not really prediction but just a way he prob sees things going.for me yes it will test the character of the indian team taday and provide us with an insight as to what to expect in the days to come from this team

If one of SRT/YS click, we may actually give a good chase. I am hoping RU will open and Viru moves to the middle order where I think he will be more useful in ODIs.

But flat track and quick outfield suits us too - So, I still think we will give a good chase and not slide to a massive defeat provided one of YS/SRT fire.

Agree that a wicket taking bowler is more valuable than a controlling one. But it is not like other bowlers have been taking a bunch of wickets today ... so why go after HS today?

the last time srt made any contribution when chasing 280+ under lights was lahore 2006 ... prior to that one has to go back another 3 years to check it out ...

Maybe you were asleep last year when he scored 94(81) in Oval against Eng, 72(72) in Nagpur against Australia and 97(102) in Gwalior against Pakistan.

gwalior - 97(102) target was much smaller - only about 250

you see im very careful before making such claims ... when it comes to records ... with my predictions im wild but with my analysis im very very careful ...

my criteria are stringent - day night game , 280+ target, strong opposition ...

add a few more criteria na. what color chaddi he was wearing, how long since hed shaved, percentage of pitch covered by grass, average speed of all the bowlers combined in the match etc
