Taruvar Kohli stays on till the end with an unbeaten 63 as India win by seven wickets. England are out of the tournament. This was a win set up by India's bowlers. A target of 147 for a good batting order was never going to be a terribly big ask. Handshakes all around as the teams leave the field.

Intrestingly True

All four subcontinenet teams are at top of their Pool;
Pak , india,SL and bangladesh. Each are on top of their pool with each played 3 matches and won all three.

lol .. i read the same thing in one of the newspapers this morning .. so, now that is some additional suspense as well.

i think the IPL should consider this feature (you will not know till the morning of the match who your next opponent is) as well in its opening season

i thought anwar ali was crap, and his partner in crime jamshed something equally one-dimensional. only good for that u-19 level.

theyve been fairly decent in domestic cricket but nowhere near intl level

yeah .. actually only 2 players have broken through to national ranks from that match for both india and pakistan .. not a bad thing by itself, as i have felt that we do rush through some of these guys into the senior squad

from the WC before last , we had 5 players play for the senior team (kkd, vrv, raina, rudra, and uthappa). pak had 1 (zulqarnain).

there is this trivedi chap who is apparently called chotta dhoni .. he comes from jharkhand ... well built chap who looks to get on with it .. even has the long locks that MSD had when he came in first

Well, this article claims he is from Jharkhand ... another one that I read said the same thing .. anyway, does not matter

I dont think any of the Pak players are under 19

I also DOUBT most of Indian players are under 19 either ....

There is a reason we always are into the finals of under 19 WC and get crashed out before Super 8's in the real thing
