Very very sloppy fielding so far, especially w.r.t. backing up of throws.

No. Zaheer did bowl at around 140-142.... Nehra around 146-149....

I agree with Vick. But I may be technically correct, since Zaheer always opened with Srinath and Nehra bowled 1st change ;)

You are right about that. But i think pretty soon we will have RP, SSS, IS all bowling above 140 in ODIs. Add Zk to this mix and we have quite decent pace attack. Couple more decent guys waiting in the wing and we even have bench.

Ii really hope someone shows the indian management the dictionary so they can read the word rotation. We need to manage the bowlers really well.

We need to make sure that 2 of the above 4 are always resting

Couple more decent guys = Praveen Kumar, Singh and Predeep Sangwan. I think time to finally say bye bye to Munna and Aggie.

Not as fast as SSS and IS but they are swing bowlers, specially Praveen and Sangwan. Singh is as tall as Sharma so should be able to extract bounce. He also moves the ball nicely.

aggressive captainship from MSD. bowling all his frontline bowlers for that long and then quite an aggressive field for the spinners. well done.
