The case against Andrew Symonds
« on: January 08, 2008, 12:28:26 AM »
I am starting a series of threads, one each on an Australian or ICC elite panel umpires where we can compile evidence and present the total in a day's time to some competent authority to be used by our team to prosecute cases against them in the ICC. Here's one on Roy. Fire away.

Let us wait for evolution to take its course.  ;D ;D ;D

I am not a racist. I just think that Symonds tries harder to be a 'dirty aussie' because he is not white in an obviously very white and bigoted team. Sociologists, psychologists and other people in the human sciences have dubbed this to be the nigger 'self hatred' syndrome. Think about Clarence Thomas or Condi Rice and you will understand immediately. They instinctively try to out white the whites.

I think what has not been highlighted enough is his escalation of the situation from what was apparently a friendly pat by HS on Lee to some variant of "Why don't you love me?" HS should simply have said "I am not gay but I have gay friends I can introduce you to" and left it there. I also think Symonds did this very deliberately, and may have perhaps been executing a premeditated plan.

It is more than likely that Symonds lied about what HS said -- the only other possibility was Ponting lied. Unfortunately what does that make him -- the usual Aussie player.
