Didn't the ball clip Ponting's pad before MSD missed it? I thought that made it difficult for MSD to gather it. But yes, it was a wicket that would have been golden at that time.

Yes RP is swinging the ball almost the entire day , especially the one going away from the lefties.

The Aussie approach after being 6 down is most refreshing ... no pulling down the shutters or going into shells ... they have put on a few in very quick time.

Of course the fact that India does not have a bowling attack / fielding that can maintain the pressure across long periods of time also adds to the frustration.

However, we still do have our noses in front. But, for those who have watched most of the action so far, what is a par score on this pitch??

46.4 Sharma to Symonds, no run, there's a massive appeal for caught behind, the Indians are convinced but Bucknor is stony faced, Ishant gets one to seam away from the right hander and the ball has taken a healthy edge through to Dhoni, that was a sizable edge and Ishant can consider himself unlucky
