Both Rao and Arafat are flying in as per all media news sources, but both land in the airport at 7:30 am

Once the morning work outs are done and all the expected players are declared fit that are part of the 11, Yuvraj should be released to play the Ranji match.

I hope BCCI grants Yuvraj his request.

I guess he is out of form ... and what they are trying is to play him back into form. What we will need to figure out is whether his present form is a dip or whether his England test form was a peak.

The interesting thing is that he is playing the fullish deliveries around offstump much better than usual. In fact, according to cricinfo, he is even shouldering after covering his stumps. Hope he continues in this vein!

I saw him bat "live" in West Indies.. and have always believed since that this guy has class. He just needs to concentrate and not throw his wicket. He has all the shots in the book.

18.4    Mohammad Sami to Jaffer, FOUR, Imperious on-the-up drive through cover. It was short in length, outside off stump, Jaffer stands up tall as he leans back and punches it through cover point

22.1    Sohail Tanvir to Jaffer, FOUR, lovely back foot punch shot, picks up the short delivery early, moves back and drives through covers for a boundary.

22.2    Sohail Tanvir to Jaffer, FOUR, this time he pitches it up, Jaffer upto it, drives wonderfully well down the ground to long on fence, brings up his 50! in style.

22.3    Sohail Tanvir to Jaffer, FOUR, pitches it short once again, rocks on the back foot and punches in front of point to the fence, lovely shot, three in three for Jaffer.
