wait till a few years when RCA players will not be able to improve fielding , this is what we will here from GURU

1. I knew these players were bound to fail as I was not provided with the ground
2. The players were more concerned about missing a chance to play so they didnt want to dive

For you everything is about Guruji. What is wrong with what Vick has said? Basically our first class grounds are terrible.

Are these the reasons for SG's poor fielding?

Yes, our 1st class grounds are pathetic. But, these same fields have produced Jadeja, Azhar, Robin Singh, Yuvi, Kaif, Raina. So, lack of stressing of fielding and fielding as a criteria for selection is as much to blame as the pathetic grounds.

The Anantapur ground is supposed to have the best outfield and the fastest pitch.. however the results here show that it favored only Andhra boys

Jadeja, Yuvi, Kaif and Raina all came through U19 system where they do get much better facilities. Robin grew up in trinidad so totally different case. Only Azhar seems like a case coming out from such grounds. And i dont say all our grounds are like that. Most of the main grounds in every state are fine, its the secondary grounds which still seem to have issues. This new BCCI will all its money and big talk isnt really doing much.

Yes, all those mentioned are good fielders, but experts in sliding? No.

Their speciality is the athletic jumping catch and diving stop, neither affected greatly by the abrasive surfaces.

Based on this picture, are you concluding that this ground is dangerous to dive on? The ground conditions of most of the international grounds in India look similar to me.
