French kids perform the haka

New Zealand might be out of contention in the race for the Webb Ellis Cup but a group of French children showed this week that they still have some fans here.

The children were seen doing their own version of the haka at the Hotel de Ville (city hall) in Paris on Wednesday.

The popular pre-match war dance performed by the All Blacks before each of their matches was copied by the pre-school youngsters as they followed the moves of the New Zealand players on a giant screen.

France memorably defeated the All Blacks in an epic quarter-final with players from Les Bleus lining up to face the haka ahead of kick-off.
