OK.. please help me chose the trump for tomorrows game.
 
DGinas I am bit confused here ...
Common sense says me to use AG as the trump for tomorrows game ....
That won't get us anywhere as the others over me do have AG and AS as their trumps :
I have to take a bit of risk and gamble:

I am tempted to choose one of the following :
RPonting
SRT
SG
RU

This being dead rubber ,  won't go near bowler to chose trumps , also allrounders will give some runs thus i am not going close to them as well.
That way SRT is ruled out: but he has also scored few runs this season : hope he doesn't gets to bowl today.
RP seems logical -- But my heart is for SRT,SG or RU ..
Whom would you back to perform the best in todays match ..

Risks : With all rounders:

1. ASymonds - may not get to bat ..
Score - 35 .. Ball - 35 without wicket .. Score zero

2. RP : score 40  - 1 RO or Catch = 50 Points
3.SRT : Score 40, ball 2-3 overs give 20 runs no wickets ..  -  no catch or RU Score := 20 points
4.SG : Score 40 - No bowling,catch or RO : Score =40
5.RU : Cames later thus scores 35 : + 1 (catch or RO) = score 45
6.AG : scores 35 + 2 catches or stumping ( 20 points)= 55 Pts ..
7.ZK : 2 wickets with 55 runs : 25 pts
8.MG Jhonson: 2 wickets with 55 runs : 25 pts
9.HS :  0 runs (as comes late ) + 45 runs +1 wicket : -5 pts
10 :IKP - 1 wicket -50 runs(bowl) , 5 runs bat(if he gets): 0 pts
11. Haddin: ( not sure will play ).

Thus as you say it is logical for AG to be chosen .. But the choices i am giving the DG are from RP,SRT,SG and RU

Uthappa. SRT will fail as he will be the lone maharathi and will be lonely. Punter is due for a failure.

Assuming the most selfish of the mahrathis is indeed dropped for this game, this should allow RU to bat higher up and he will succeed.

Though you should looke to make Symonds or another allrounder the trump card
