Salman Butt engaged with Maira

LAHORE, January 14 (Online): Batsman Salman Butt was engaged with tennis star Maira Raheem here in Lahore on Eid Day.

Maira Raheem is younger sister of Maryam Raheem who remained super star of tennis for a long duration.

Apart from the relatives of Maira and Salman, cricket players including Inzimam ul Haq, coach Bob also attended the engagement ceremony.

that is one of the most inane statements (from a pysch and management perspective) that a well educated well read guy like RD could make. I suppose it may have been an unnamed barb at someone, but my comment up there expresses my sarcasm and my disagreement with that line of thinking.

And yes, I shall get a lot of flames for this, but I am willing to defend my point --have seen, read, and observed enough org behavior to know that while the statement reads well in print as a message of a brave and professional new team india, it is but bunkum based on ground facts and human pysche.

Yeah, these mgmt type oneliners really get on your nerves sometimes. I really wonder how they survive, if not by preserving priviledge for the select few.

But then again, this whole world is run on bs.
