When asked whether India was capable of beating Eng and keeping thier hopes alive, Gambhir said anyone can beat anyone else in 20-20. Even Zimbabwe beat Australia the other day

todays match really not that important. win or lose, we have to beat south africa tomorrow to qualify.

In a way its good that the SA NZ match is happening before ours. We will know exactly where we stand both with respect to points, NRR etc, especially if SA win.

I think the only realistic chance for us is if we get to a stage where SA have to beat us and not just be better off on NRR.

In a 20 over match, it is not too difficult for a team to manage the NRR required, especially if it does not have to win the match.

Damn .. NZ falling off after a good start .. for a moment, I thought the best case scenario for India was actually playing out. Now, it looks like we may actually have to win both and also look at run rates ... hopefully, NZ claws its way back.
