The cricinfo commentary guys are loving this ;D (Prolly poms)

"Symonds is furious in the bunker - arms crossed. So much for this being fun"

"This match was billed as a one-sided affair... and so it's proving. All hopes resting on Brad Hodge, the leading run-scorer in Twenty20 history. Just as well Australia have got one specialist in their side"

"Stuart Clark's was asked a few overs ago what's a good total. "Anything we can get is good." That's not the most optimistic reply it must be said - unusual for an Aussie. They're not worried are they?"

Imagine the whipping that Eng is going to get on Friday from the "wounded" Aussies ::cheers:: ::cheers:: ::cheers::

I didn't know DL was flexible enough to apply to 20-20 too. Or is a new set of DL rules?

Think it is the same D/L. Apparently ODI calculates on D/L per over. For 20-20 it is per ball.... So, Zim should have been 79 to tie and 80 to win after 11.5 overs.

The question is more about ..which curve do they use? Do they apply the ODI curve or have they developed one for 20-20..which inherently would have less # of data points (due to lack of # of matches) to be "applicable".

ODI curve as per commentators on ESPN.

Masajadza out trying to REVERSE SWEEP Brett Lee :D :D :D

18.3     Lee to Masakadza, OUT, dangerous shot - sounded like an edge but there wasn't - Masakadza trying the reverse sweep and paying for it. You don't get plumber and that wasn't a tough decision

Well, it might come to NRR too and Zim may be out.

Eng will beat Zimbabwe and lose to Australia. Net RR comes into play then I think. Australia and Zimbabwe are virtually the same on that aspect. But it is anybody's game.

OTOH, howdy mate? Your moniker now extends to Australia  ;D

Scotland and Zimbabwe play again tomorrow..

India plays tomorrow and day after..

This is a really fast-paced tournament.

If Zim vs Aus is an indicator of the fun (rather than the bat-bat-bat, WI vs SA match), this format could take off.
