If India plays the third test for draw - then there can be disaster.
Totally agree.

I would like RD to change this aspect of his leadership fast. Please please please don't go "safety first".

But that's what he's not done. Like playing 5 bowlers in the Mumbai test after being on a 1-0 lead... he got a lot of stick for that, although I still think it was a good move.
I think the stick was for winning the toss and fielding and not for playing 5 bowlers.
Exactly
that's what we did here too ...only thing is out there our bowlers sucked big time on day 1. That was the only day of bad bowling in the entire test ... from day 2, bowlers were on top.

Batting at Trent Bridge on the 5th day and on any turning pitch in India are different excercises.

Congratulations to the Indian team!!!
One of the best things about this is that almost all the players contributed. The batsmen put on a solid score, ZK bowled excellently. RPS had some terrific deliveries, SG plugged into his role as backup pacer. MSD stopped a number of byes.

Now the big question is: can we return with a series win? They will try to come back hard at us. It is great that this team with ageing maharathis and no coach and a bad captain can still win in England.

So, ZK and RPS coming and bowling around the wicket was Sachin's IDEA  :icon_thumleft: :icon_thumleft: :icon_thumleft:

How can england points go down and India go up.. if India loses. (given that the points are updated as of Aug 1)
