bet365 Odds :

India  3.50
England  4.50
Draw  1.66

Draw is a heavy favorite, India win 2nd and Eng win is only a least possible outcome.

over to you fineleg  ;D

Bet365 is designed so they make money! (Just saying that, I have no clue on the odds calculations...)
But, I'll tell u this much - it is still a big uphill to win this game for India (first they need to save it as well).

WI is in good position in 5th ODI. Looks like these days you can predict anything.

Just that I had it in the other DG and have been "lazy" to work on it here...But thanx for reminding.

ENG will look to get 330 runs, and 330+70=400 run lead.
They will declare when 40 minutes left to end of close today.

Please wake up. England is playing in India. Not in Austrlaia or England. They will NOT score 330 runs in 75 overs. 100% sure. Also, if they declare after scoring 330 runs, England will have to bat till lunch tomorrow ;)

Any  score around 250 is good enough. A lead of 320 is more than enough. So, they will just play till 1st hour after tea. 15 tricky overs for India. As usual, our viru dada goes for 30+ score in 2nd innigs.

As we know very well, Sachin can't play a defensive innings. He can only attack. If he goes into his shell, he will only get out. So, it is pretty much down to RD & VVS to save this match for us.

Bet365 Odds :

India  3.75
England  5.00
Draw  1.57

bet365 still thinks draw is the best bet ;D ;D

That will still mean Eng need to score at around 3.5 an over. very unlikely to happen on this pitch. Also Eng will be conservative and will not be bold enough to declare like that, if you are saying declaring rather than ENg getting all out for 250.

Jaffer and Kaif are also capable of playing longer innings in a defensive mould-- so actually, I think our current lineup is pretty well suited to save a game.

Well...that's what working dawwwwgs means-- it's terrible; sopcast is always unreliable-- occasionally good, but ussually way to much buffering.

They have to bat 3.3 an over for 75 overs. Should send Harmy at 3, followed by Peterson, Flintoff & Jones. That should take them easily to 200 in 50 overs.

Scoring quickly will become difficult once the spinners come on; I think situation is probably going to boil down to England declaring with about 5 overs for us to play tonight.  So about 95 overs to save the game.

Let me remind you that England are playing on a 4th day pitch in India  ;D ;D Scoring at 3.3 is not possible. Also, England will not take that much risk to declare with a lead of 320.

I don't think England will declare tonight. Too much risk. they will be conservative. They will bat out India out of the match before declaring, i.e., reqd run rate >=4. Well actually, I think England will be all out for 175.  ;D ;D

If you have to score 400 runs at 3.3, it is difficult. But to score 250, u can take risks. 320 is a lot much.

But jfk is right-- they won't risk declaring with only a lead of 320; it is enough, but they won't take any risk at all.  They will look for a lead of at least around 350.
