hi pessimist fineleg  : what are your predictions now ? See, we did get to 300 as I said. Also a bit more....

My predictions :

India     WIN 40%
England WIN 25%
Draw            35%

as ive said before--india will beat england 3-0, barring some very bad cricket.

Well, good show to get to 300. However, I still dont agree that India is holding the advtg (ur saying 40% vs 25%)...
We are trailing by 70+ runs now, and with only One Tailender wicket in hand.

Safe to guess Eng will have a lead of 50, 60 runs. That is very vital first inn. lead...On Indian pitches, batting 4th is difficult, and such vital lead may prove costly.

Dont u think first inn lead will spell trouble?
(I guess ur counting on Eng will be out for 170...I doubt that...but, even if so chasing 225-250 in 4th is very tricky, and if we are to chase 350 or 400...forget it...)

India win 40% : Yes. you are right. I still believe Eng will only score 150-175. I think India will bat better in the 4th innings and can chase down 210-235. Hence my odds at 40%.

Eng Win 25% : Because I don't think Eng will try to force a Win here and it will be a safety first approach and 1st aim will still be not to lose from this position. It makes sense too, since they are an away team. Not saying they will be defensive, but just that they will be conservative.

Draw 35% : Just taking into account rain, our bowlers' "talent" to polish the tail off

But, AK seems to be absent and his mind sleepy? Give him some masala chai and lets wake him up.

That is the biggest problem. AK needs filter coffee and not masala chai

Precisely the reason why I think India's chances for a "win" are very less, and Eng is in a strong position.

i did not want to depress ur optimism...but since u asked,

ENG WIN 60% = they'll leave us to chase 350 atleast
Draw       20-25% = rain + lack of time
Ind win    15-20% = AK/HS magically wake up and smell the coffee, getting eng for 150-170
