Great victory after a long time!
Hope GC-effect is losing its influence on our team!

Yuvi was one of GC's success stories (look at his record under GC). And the return of Ganguly to a hard working batsman was too.

Return of Ganguly?!.....what has GC got to do with that? As per all available info GC always tried his best to block SG's entry into the team. He had to bear with it thanks to Vengsarkar's insistence..............Honestly, GC never wanted SG to return.

Yuvi is GC's success story?....Poor Yuvi will be ashamed to know of this.
You know what...yesterday's victory reminded me of the 2002 Natwest victory under SG-JW combine. Those were the heady days. Yesterday reminded me of that final...............and Yuvi remembers that day too. He tried to do an SG on Dravid....that is....he tried to jump on Dravid just the way SG did on MK last time!

Yuvi became a much more consistent player under GC. Whether GC had anything to do with that or it was just a natural turnaround in Yuvi, we do not know.

We still need bowlers. I am sure HS and IP will return soon. If VRV and Munaf keep improving, we will be in good shape. Provided we do not get another "expert" like Ian Frazer, that is.

On the batting front, VS will return as well. Perhaps Kaif too in the ODIs.
