here’s this: Ganguly playing for East Zone in the one-day Deodhar Trophy literally batted his team out of the match. He laboured for 146 balls to score 81. His knock included 90 dot balls. East finally got 223, but that was thanks to some late order hitting which got 53 runs in the last 5 overs. West won the match in a canter.
