I think the reason is folks are trying to be serious for this thread. Thats a good thing and I appreciate that.


About the same time last year, this place was a lot of fun (despite the usual SG-GC bickering). Its time this place got a facelift and made fun again.

Dex has made a good start by saying "I can give you is my own commitment to not greet anyone in my next post with something sarcastic, belittling, patronizing, etc.—more importantly I’m saying this with no IF or BUT clauses".

All of us need to say the same thing and move on to cricket, banter(only with folks ur  *mutually* comfortable bantering with!), food etc.

Sir, that was never in doubt! The mellow tone was the surprise...like Flute has said, perhaps he has that effect on people(although SGUSA might get upset with me for saying that.. )
